Anna C. and Oliver C. Colburn Fellowship

The $11,000 Fellowship is to support studies undertaken at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, Greece, for no more than one year. Geographic area and cultural period not otherwise specified. Applicant must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada, must be at the pre-doctoral stage or have recently received a Ph.D. (within five years of the date of the application.), and must apply concurrently to the American School for Associate Membership or Student Associate Membership. The award is contingent upon the applicant’s acceptance by the ASCSA. The applicant may not be a member of the ASCSA during the year of application. At the conclusions of the fellowship tenure, the recipient must submit a report on the use of the stipend to the President of the AIA and the Director of the ASCSA.
