Fred Schiegert Scholarship Program for Students with Low Vision

Awarding three (3) students an individual prize of $3,000., this competitive scholarship is available to full-time college students with low vision, chosen from among those who meet the visual acuity and academic guidelines.
Guidelines, On-line Application, and CCLVI Scholarship Applicant Eye Report Form are available on this web site from January 1st, to 11:59 pm EST March 15th each year. The application must be completed online.
Semi-finalists will be selected to participate in a telephone interview with committee members. Winners will be notified in late spring. Winners are expected to attend our annual meeting, which is held in conjunction with the American Council of the Blind National Convention and generally takes place the first week in July.
