Getty Center Library Research Grant

Purpose: Grant intended to provide partial support for costs relating to travel and living expenses for scholars at any level who demonstrate compelling need to use materials in Getty Research Library. Applicant’s place of residence must be at least 80 or more miles away from Getty Center. Research period may last several days to a maximum of three months. Grant only supports one research trip to Getty Center. Grantee may reapply after two years; if project is different, grantee may reapply the next year. Focus: Varies year to year, check website
