Kappa Gamma Pi Cornaro Scholarship for Graduate Studies
Deadline: April 20
Kappa Gamma Pi established the Cornaro scholarship for graduate studies in 1984. The scholarship is open to members of Kappa Gamma Pi who have been accepted by an accredited graduate or professional school. The award of $3000 is to be applied as needed for graduate expenses and is non-renewable.
The Cornaro scholarship derives its name from the first woman in the Western world to receive a Doctor of Philosophy in 1678 from the University of Padua, Italy. It was an accomplishment unparalleled in that time. Kappa Gamma Pi is proud to have named its scholarship in her honor.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you MUST be a member of Kappa Gamma Pi, and already accepted into an accredited graduate or professional program.
