National Huguenot Society Scholarship

National Huguenot Society Scholarship

Deadline: Ongoing

A generous bequest from a member of The National Huguenot Society has made it possible for the Society to award a $5000 scholarship to a qualified college or postgraduate student each year.

This one-time award is limited to $5000 per student, and is not renewable. The scholarship is not based upon financial need, and the award monies will be issued directly to the educational institution.

A candidate must meet all of the following criteria in order to be considered for this award:

  • Be a regular member of The National Huguenot Society, having met all requirements for that membership.
  • Be a student at an accredited college or graduate school who has had at least two semesters of history which include, at least in part, a history of religion.
  • Have completed at least two years of college with a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
